Timothy Gilland

Timothy Shaun Gilland, 44, passed away on April 30, 2024. He was born on July 14, 1979 in Knoxville, TN. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his children Brandon (Haley) Gilland and Aubrey Mae Gilland (Jason), grandchildren Colton and Walker Gilland, grand puppy Miller, devoted parents James and Brenda Gilland,  sister Jennifer (Matthew) Smith, his wife Kissy Gilland, step-children, Jordan, Jonathan, Jayden and Jayla and 4 step-grandsons. He also leaves behind four nephews Jacob, Shane, Aidan, and Jase, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Timothy was preceded in death by his grandparents Mary and Joseph Hicks and Geneva Gentry, as well as his aunts Patricia Stinnett and Lisa Hicks, uncles Charles Hicks, Hubert Finger, Rick Hicks, and Butch Hicks, and step-son Jacob Jones.

He grew up in South Knoxville and graduated from South Doyle High School. It was there that he met his first love and the mother of his children, Natoshia (Shaun) Foster. He also had a strong love for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

A memorial service to celebrate Timothy's life will be held at Redemption Harvest Church, located at 833 Avenue A in Knoxville, TN, on May 18, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

May Timothy find peace and solace in the arms of eternity, his spirit forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved him.
