Suzanne Gyger, a beloved housewife and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, in Knoxville, Tennessee, just shy of her 85th birthday. Born on March 3, 1940, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Suzanne lived a life characterized by her kindness, thoughtfulness, and unwavering love for those around her.

Suzanne had a profound passion for her family and took great pride in her role as a caregiver, participating actively in her church community. She will be remembered fondly for her nurturing spirit and her unwavering dedication to her loved ones.

Among her many joys, Suzanne cherished the time spent at her lake house, where she enjoyed the tranquility of living by the water. She found happiness in activities like hunting, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. An artist at heart, she loved engaging in arts and crafts and often gathered with family and friends to play cards, creating lasting memories.

Suzanne leaves behind her two devoted sons, Eric Gyger and Heath Gyger, as well as her loving sister Pat Bourden and brother and sister-in-law Phillip and Bonnie Wessels. She is also survived by three nieces, one nephew, and six grandchildren who were the light of her life.

Preceding her in death are her beloved husband Ronnie Gyger, her father Gerhard Wessels, her mother Ester Wessels, her father-in-law Victor Gyger, and her mother-in-law Mildred Gyger.

Suzanne’s sweet and loving personality, coupled with her delightful stubbornness, made her a unique presence in the lives of those who shared their time with her. Her memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
