Sherry Jones Hilton

Sherry Lynn Jones-Hilton of Knoxville Tennessee passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the young age of 54 years old. She was an outstanding wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her love for cooking was out of this world. She had many first-place ribbons from multiple contests. her and her husband‘s favorite pastime was going to the mountains and looking for arrowheads. She always loved the fresh, clean air. Family was the most important thing to her. She was always planning get-togethers. being a grandparent was what she looked forward to the most. from dressing up like a T-Rex and hiding Easter eggs; to never saying no in a store. she told the best stories and jokes to everyone because laughter was her medicine.

She is survived by her husband, Jackie Hilton, son Eddie Jones, and his wife, Amber. Daughter Wanda Ellison, grandchildren Brisyn  Jones, Haley Austin, Izabella Walker, and Nathen Ellison. siblings Helen Cox, Evie Valton, Barbara Lay, Mary Harden, and Frankie–Bubba–Jones.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Humphrey, her father, Joe Humphrey, and her brother Johnny Jones.

Services will be on Friday, March 1, 2024, in the chapel of Foothills Funeral Home, 910 Lincoln Rd. Maryville, TN 37804. The visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with the service to immediately follow, beginning at 2 p.m. The interment will be at Rocky Hill Cemetery- Northshore.
