Shawn Michael Martin was born on September 4, 1987 to Michael Joe Taylor and Paula Martin both of Knoxville, Tennessee. All that knew him called him Michael.

He was preceded in death by his father Michael Joe Taylor, sisters, Kimberly Sue Booker and Sherrie Webber.

He is survived by his mother Paula Taylor of Knoxville, TN and stepfather Perry Gipson of Knoxville, TN.

Children James Joiner of Maryville, TN, Aiden Martin of Corryton, TN, Laylynn Martin and Karioma Martin both of Woodbine, GA. Nieces, nephews, Codie Martin and Zevin Lovell both of Knoxville, TN. Special friends Tessie and Alexis Scarbrough of Knoxville, TN. Special thank you to Shala Blankenship, and host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
