Nancy Jane Russell

February 21, 1947 - January 11, 2024

Nancy Jane Russell was born on February 21, 1947. Nancy was a kind person who worked for 35 years caring for children and babies. In her free time, she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family. A part of the Baptist faith, Nancy always had a smile on her face and was willing to help anyone in need. She truly demonstrated a true servant's heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents Claude L., and Neva Compton, her husband Paul Russell, brothers and sister, Claude L. Compton, Jr., Reverend Thomas W. Compton, and Betty Compton Gilbert.

Survivors include daughters, Nancy Russell Butler and Jodi (Travis) Russell Cable. Son, Robert "Bobby" Russell. Grandsons- Isaac "Trai" Butler (Abby) and Willam "Logan" Cable. Great-grandson, Rippley Butler, sister, Carol Compton Long, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
