Nan Welch

Nan Lou Jones. Welch. 87 passed away on October 14th, 2023. She was born on September 25, 1936, to the late Cecil and Lucille Jones.

Preceded in death by her parents. Husband Jim Welch and brother Cecil (Curly) Jones.

Nan was an avid horse lover and former champion barrel racer. She also served as a substitute teacher at Karns Middle and High School.

Left behind to mourn her passing are special friends Christopher White of Powell, TN, and Tracy Smith of Pall Mall, TN. Nan is also survived by sisters Mary Ruth Childress of Powell, TN, and Helga Hickman of Kodak, TN.

Burial will be Saturday, October 21st, 2023, at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery at 11 AM, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Jim.
