Marion Hebert Compagno passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the age of 70. Ms. Compagno lived in Crossville, Tennessee, but she remained a daughter of New Orleans through her life. She is survived by her three beloved children, Peter Alexander Compagno (Kristin Hennessey Compagno), Michael Paul Compagno, and Cristen Compagno Wandzilak (Brian Wandzilak) as well as her husband and then partner of 53 years, Joseph Peter Compagno. Grandmother of Alexandra Marie Compagno, Vincent Alexander Compagno, Lina Alexandra Wandzilak, and Sonny Joseph Compagno. Sister of Judith Hebert Ordoyne (Cliff Ordoyne) & Paulette Hebert. Daughter of the late Ralph Hebert and Claire Kruse Hebert. Marion graduated from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, and she worked tirelessly as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) for 43 years. She was committed to patient care and compassion. She leaves behind her nephews, nieces, and other family members as well as countless friends who she adored and whose prayers carried her through to the end. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 12:00pm . Interment will follow in the Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 12:00pm.
