Joanne Brown passed away at home after a short illness.

Joanne was born in Knoxville, TN to Claude and Anna Mae Carr. She was 79
years young when she went home to be with Jesus. She loved reading and
could be found often sitting at the kitchen table with a book in her hands.

She is survived by her daughter Sherri Lynn Garret, her two sons,
Franklin Dale Brown and Mark Allen Brown. She leaves behind several
beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by
her sisters Elizabeth Walker, Kathy Hamilton, Susan Hall, Linda GosnelL,
and her brother Bruce Carr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brown, her sons Robert
Frankin Brown, Jr, Eric Lee Brown; her parents Claude and Anna Mae Carr;
her sisters June Bridges, Vickie McGhee, Caroline Carr; and her brothers
Donald Carr and Jimmy Carr.

Joanne was well loved by all who met her. She was funny and kind, always
willing to help anyone who needed it. She will be very missed by all who
knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5-8, on July 24, 2023 at Common
Place Coffee & Community 6000 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920.
