Javier Simon Dominguez, aged 58, passed away on October 1, 2024, in Knoxville, TN. Born on June 26, 1966, Javier was a cherished figure known for his loving, kind, and stubborn nature. He deeply loved his two daughters and embraced life with zeal.
Javier attended Merced High School and later pursued further education at Pellissippi State Community College. His career spanned across various trades, including roles in restaurant and kitchen management at Darryl's and Ruby Tuesday, as well as positions at Denso and Green Mountain Coffee Company.
A man of diverse interests, Javier was an avid golfer, a sports fan, and enjoyed spending time at casinos and riding motorcycles. His zest for life and engaging hobbies brought joy not only to him but also to those around him.
He is survived by the love of his life, Angela Thomas; daughters, Christina Dominguez and Destiny Pollard (John); grandson, Noah Melton-Pollard; stepson, Aaron Kinnunen (Alisha); grandchildren, Bentley and Aubree Kinnunen; parents, David L and Alicia Dominguez; sisters, Veronica Applebee (Brian); Rose Dominguez Wall (Kevin); and Esmerelda Dominguez, nieces Stacey Morgan; Anita Redding; Lori Hillis, nephews Christopher Dominguez (Randee), Alexander Applebee and Nicholas Applebee. as well as several aunts, uncles and great nephews.
A celebration of Javier's life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a GoFundMe set up to assist with funeral costs and to assist in travel for his daughters to participate in a celebration of life in California, where his parents can bid his ashes a farewell.
