Jason Dee Baxley, born on February 7, 1984, in Sarasota, Florida, passed away March 13, 2025, in the serene mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Survived by his mother, Connie (Dan) Hostetler, father Cameron (Sharyn) Baxley. Sister Erin (Jody) Bennett, Brothers Elijah Burr and Ian (Hannah) Burr. Nephews, Tyler, Elliott, Oliver and nieces, Lexi, Emoree, Scarlette and Aspen. Grandparents: Mattie Turner, Charles Turner, Julia Baxley, Ron (Vivian) Burr. Step sibling, Amber Whitaker, Atashia (Luke) Wittwer, Shawnda (Jason) Davidson, and Javen (Melinna) Hostetler. Girlfriend, Tina Durrill.
Preceded in death by grandfather Larry D. Baxley, grandparents Dawn (Royce) Albert.
A lover of the great outdoors, Jason found joy in every natural adventure that came his way. Whether he was carving through fresh powder on his snowboard, gliding down ski slopes, or feeling the rush of the wind while jet skiing, his enthusiasm for life was infectious.
Jason's zest for life was matched only by his generous heart. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and genuine nature. His ability to connect with others created many strong bonds, making it easy for friends to confide in him and share their dreams. In every conversation, Jason had a way of making people feel seen and valued, embodying the very essence of friendship.
Though Jason's journey in this world was far too brief, his legacy of love, adventure, and connection will forever illuminate the paths of those he left behind. He is remembered for his love and compassion for people.
Memorial Service will be April 5, 2025 at 4 pm. The Dance Center, 828 Tulip Ave, Knoxville, TN 37921. Food will be available.
