Jacob Douglas

Jacob Earl Douglas age 42, passed away on November 14, 2023. He attended Gibbs High School and was an avid 2nd amendment advocate. Jacob loved the outdoors and camping, primarily at Douglas Lake, a place referred to as a piece of heaven. Jacob was known for having a big heart for people and a personality that would include giving the shirt off his back and the donation of a kidney to his former fiance Terry Owens. He also loved cooking and spending time with his family and friends.

Jacob is survived by his mother Tammy (Tim) Faulkner, father Joey (Nancy) Douglas, and sister Megan (Shannon)Douglas. Grandparents Delmar and Earlene Wright, grandmother Laticia Wright, grandmother Martha Douglas, uncle Michael Wright, aunt Katy Humphrey, and aunt Pearl (Bruce) Smith. Three nieces, Allyson Alston, Anabelle Lively, Amelia Lively, and nephews Aiden Lively, Atlas Hand. Cousins Hollie Kirkland and Tyler Smith. He is also survived by close friends Josh Cross, Terry Haley, and a host of other cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Bays Mountain Baptist Church, 8605 Walnut Springs Lane, Knoxville, TN 37920, with the Reverend Russell L Sharp Jr., officiating the service.
