Floyd Pratt 79, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on December 28, 2024. Born November 6, 1945, and was a respected and cherished member of the community. Floyd was a kind, loving and caring person that always put others' needs before his own. Fondly nicknamed "Babe" to close friends and family, he touched many lives with his generosity. Floyd was the proud owner and operator of Floyds Heat and Air service. He has been a devout follower of Christ since he gave his heart to Christ in Sunday School as a young boy.
Floyd's educational journey began at Union School Elementary and continued at Carter High School. He further honed his skills at HVAC school, which paved the way for his career. Beyond his professional and spiritual life, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, fishing in his youth and watching wrestling.
He leaves behind the most precious thing to him his daughters, Emma (Deana) Pratt Reeser, Robin Lee Pratt Campbell, Dawn Evette Pratt Brown. Grandchildren John, Lacey, Landon, Falon, Aaron, Raychel and Adrian; great-grandchildren Aubree, Parker and Carter; his special friend Barbara Pratt and stepson Darrell Gray. He was preceded by his parents Franklin D. Pratt and Mary M. Sellers Pratt, and his brother, Boyd F. Pratt,
A drop by celebration of life service for Floyd will be held at Pratts Chapel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall to honor his memory and legacy. He will be Dearly missed by all!!
