Elmore Long

Elmore Long, born on May 29, 1959, passed away peacefully on November 22 2024. He was a cherished figure whose impact on the lives of those around him will never be forgotten

Elmore was as devoted as he was loving. He leaves behind three sons, Jason Armijo, Christopher Armijo, and Michael Longmire, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength. He was a proud grandfather to five granddaughters and four grandsons, whose laughter brought him immense joy. Additionally, he was blessed with three great-grandchildren, each a bright embodiment of his enduring spirit. His life partner, Shelly Longmire, stood by him through thick and thin, sharing countless moments that will forever be treasured.

Elmore was part of a vibrant family, comprising seven siblings who were not only his relatives but also his closest friends. The connections within this large family extended through countless nieces and nephews, creating a rich tapestry of love and support that Elmore valued deeply.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, along with a beloved sister, and two nieces and two nephews, who hold a special place in the hearts of those who remain.

Elmore Long will be remembered for his gentle nature, unwavering loyalty, and the warmth that emanated from his smile. His presence will be profoundly missed but fondly cherished by all who were fortunate to know him.
