Edward Steven Williams

Edward Steven Williams, born on December 27, 1965, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away on February 3, 2025, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Ed was an exceptional heavy equipment operator, dedicated to his craft and taking great pride in clearing land and contributing to the development of Jefferson County's communities.

Throughout his life, Ed exhibited a profound passion for the outdoors. He cherished adventures that included hunting, fishing, and riding ATVs; these activities were not only his hobbies but also a testament to his spirited nature and love for exploration. A true fighter, he approached life's challenges with an unwavering strength, embodying resilience and dedication. These values were instilled deeply into his daughters, Sara and Amber.

Ed's family will remember him for his warmth and the countless memories they shared. Sara reflects on him as her first best friend, expressing how deeply she will miss him, stating, “You have fought for so long and now you get to rest. I love you so much daddy.” Amber poignantly shares, “You won the biggest fight daddy, the battle is over. Rest easy Daddy.” Carrie, Ed's wife, and lifelong companion, cherishes their shared time spent fishing and hunting, as well as observing him as a dedicated father.

Brandon Henderson, Ed’s son-in-law, recalls fond memories spent together on hunting land. His grandson Blaine Williams treasures moments playing with remote control cars, while Noah Jacobs, another grandson, undoubtedly holds onto the loving legacy left by his papaw.

Ed's ability to raise his daughters into the remarkable individuals they are today stands as one of his proudest accomplishments, a legacy that will endure in the hearts of his loved ones. He is preceded in death by his brother James Williams, his mother Beverly Tasky, his father James Edward Williams, and his sister Wendy Maffey.

Edward Steven Williams leaves behind a loving family, including Carrie Lott, his devoted wife; Sara Jacobs and Amber Henderson, his beloved daughters; Brandon Henderson, his son-in-law; and grandsons Blaine Williams and Noah Jacobs. He will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for the love he shared and the lives he touched.
