Donald (Bud) Dean Nellums, 73, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on January 13, 2024. Bud was a big-hearted man with a strong sense of family. He brightened up any room he was in with his humor and stories. Bud had a happy-go-lucky personality with a smile and laugh that was contagious. He was also the kind of person you would go to for advice and help in solving any problem. Bud was the ultimate family man, having had the privilege of marrying the love of his life and best friend, Victoria Ann Nellums. He was the best Dad to all his children and a great friend to everyone around him. Bud's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bud is survived by his wife, Victoria Ann Nellums, and his siblings, Melinda Sue Nellums. He is also survived by his children: Ann Marie Gonzalez, Yancy Caleb Wolfe Nellums, Quincy James Edward Nellums. Bud was a loving father-in-law to Billy Jhon Beeler and Barbra Louise Bergin. A proud grandfather to Nicholas German Gonzalez, Desmond Murphy Nellums, Allison Nicole Bergin, and Wolfgang Isaiah Nellums. He was also a great-grandfather to Rowan Storm Nellums. Bud leaves behind Nephews Jeremy Nellums, Marshall Porter, and Nieces Melissa Terc, Holly Nellums, and Anna Milliken. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Lee Cochran Nellums, his father, James Madison Nellums, his brother, Robert Gordon Nellums, and brother in law Michael Bradley Porter.

Bud attended Morningside Elementary for his primary education and later graduated from Elizabeth Town High School. He continued his education at Roane State Community College. Throughout his life, Bud pursued his passion for music and was a talented musician for over 50 years. In addition to his music career, he enjoyed playing the drum, riding motorcycles, doing yard work, writing stories, playing war computer games, and spending time with friends and family.
