Bethany Shipley

Bethany Kylena Irwin Shipley, age 34 of Knoxville, Tennessee. She passed on November 18, 2024 and was born February 22, 1990. Bethany was a loving daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter and aunt. She loved music, drawing, poetry, swimming and outdoors. She is now free from the addiction and pain that took her life away from all who loved her. She is now in our Lord's arms, safe. 

Bethany is survived by her three children, Kayleigh, age 15, Madison, age 14, and  Jakob, age 10. Parents Jeff and Tammy Irwin, brothers Justin (Brandi) Mayton, brother Brandon Talley, Nana and Pappy Irwin, aunts Denise Irwin Stewman, Kerri Allred, Special cousin, Kyle and Leah Stewman, and several other family members and friends. Special cousin, Shonna Nelson Williams. 

Bethany is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Shipley, Jr., Granny Betty, and Karol Alred, her bio mom. 

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 30, 2024 at North Hills Baptist Church. 2901 Fairway Drive Knoxville, TN, 37917, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thanks to North Hills Baptist Church and Knoxville Cremation & Memorial Services.
